Detailed Problem Description
(Include Screen Shots if required )
Planned to prod order conversion error.
Solution Analysis and Recommendations
(Include Screen Shots if required)
It is observed that planned order is not converted to Production Order. An error "
You cannot make an assignment to Make-to-order stock" is being observed when planned order is converted to Production Order.
The reason for this error is, Order type in planned order is “LA” which is stock type and the corresponding sales order is Make to Order (Requirement Type is KE).
This is because of the Status Inconsistency in the sales order and can be cleared by carrying out Sales order status inconsistency report
Resolution
Status inconsistency is been seen for sales orders : 1577545, 1577546, 1577544 & 1577547.
Due to this inconsistency 14 out of 30 planned orders could not get converted to Production orders.
Corrective actions:
- Carry out Sales order status inconsistency “SDSTATU2”
- Carry out MRP Run by giving planning mode as 3 “Delete and Recreate”
- Convert the new generated planned order to production order.
